Iranian kid flick reveals trailer in advance of release

Internationally well-received Iranian kid flick ‘Chocolate’ reveals trailer in immediate advance of release in Iran cinema theaters.

 ‘Chocolate’ directed by Soheil Movaffagh already garnered warm reception at screening in the 2017 Golden Elephant Festival, India.

The trailer surfaced online Thursday a day before its public release today.

“Everything starts with a box of chocolate… That means I was a kid… When you are a kid, chocolate is the most adorable taste in the world,” a brief synopsis for the film read.

The film stars actors such as Shabnam Moghaddam, Nasser Hashemi, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati and Arzhang Amirfazli.

Director Movaffagh was recently quoted by media as to why his film is welcome by children from other nationalities.

He said it feels that the mindset and the desires of the children across the world, irrespective of their culture, are the same.
